Founded by Felix A. Marino, a Chemical Engineer and loving family man who, unfortunately, passed away in 1992, Felix’s son Fred Marino has since directed and maintained the family-owned company. As a result, this continuity ensures that the core values and integrity established by Felix are upheld within the organization.

Initially, FAMCO started as a landscape and road construction contractor in the 1950s. However, in 1973, Felix reorganized the company under its current name, Felix A. Marino Co., Inc. (FAMCO). Since then, FAMCO has been dedicated to serving municipalities and private commercial entities with comprehensive pavement maintenance services. Over the years, FAMCO has also developed numerous innovative materials and processes within the asphalt industry, in addition to securing several patents that highlight our commitment to quality and innovation.

Currently, FAMCO remains a thriving family-owned company, now led by the entrepreneurship of Fred Marino. Furthermore, daily operations are managed by a select team of professionals who are supported by numerous talented long-term employees, consultants, and skilled craftsmen. In addition, we continually add and mentor new employees, thereby striving to maintain the values and integrity that Felix demanded from the very beginning.
